Data Scientist
Intone Inc
We are seeking a Data Scientist for an 8-month contract position based in Mountain View, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on data science initiatives in a collaborative environment, leveraging modern AI tools and technologies to drive business impact.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement technologies within semantic layers, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, and AI/agent tooling
- Develop data science solutions and guide projects from initial evaluation through adoption
- Work with SQL to manage data definitions and semantic content
- Collaborate with multiple technical and business teams, including external stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Communicate technical trade-offs, recommendations, and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
- Required
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: semantic layers, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, or AI/agent tooling
- Strong SQL skills, including working with data definitions and semantic content
- Proficiency with Python in a data science environment
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Experience partnering with multiple technical and business teams, including external stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining technical trade-offs and recommendations
