Certified Medical Assistant, Part Time, Chambers Center for Well Being, Morristown Morristown, NJ, United States Job Description Supports physicians with patient care and treatment plans, including chart preparation and chiropractic care modalities. Rooms patients and records vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) in patient charts. Asks patients questions regarding injury, ailment, or reason for visit. Prepares treatment rooms for examinations and cleans and sterilizes all equipment, beds, and consultation areas. Removes laundry from treatment rooms and transports to laundry area at end of shift. Supports clients receiving Thermal Suite services: Greets guests, checks them in and out of services. Operates BioMat and Cryosauna following safety procedures. Organizes linen removal to laundry area in thermal suite and locker rooms. Uses MindBody Software to schedule clients and document SOAP notes. Collaborates with other service areas to maintain high guest service standards. Assists guests courteously and communicates any staff or guest incidents to management. Reports necessary repairs to management and completes other assigned duties. Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred. Epic knowledge preferred. Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program required. National certification CCMA from NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT. Must be able to stand for most of the shift. Customer and employee focused with strong work ethic, detail orientation, and multitasking ability. Willingness and capability to learn new tasks regularly. Can work independently without constant direct supervision. Possesses strong teamwork and collaborative skills. Demonstrates hospitality, professionalism, and customer service.
