Location Littleton, CO. This position does not support teleworking and requires a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time. Job Summary The Project Engineer will join the Spacecraft Flight Cable and Harness Design team as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM). The role involves leading fast‑paced teams from requirements through development and production, coordinating functional groups, communicating technical status to program leadership, and ensuring timely issue resolution. Responsibilities Provide leadership on a fast‑paced team from requirements through development and production. Ensure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle. Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership, as well as externally to the customer. Participate in technical reviews and audits. Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects (harness/cable) within the area of assigned responsibility. Develop timely resolution plans for issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation. Resolve engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs. Maintain an in‑depth understanding of parts procurements, headcount challenges, and resource constraints. Qualifications Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education. 5+ years professional experience in flight cable & harness design or production. Lead Program Design teams and have been sought after as a subject‑matter expert. Experience in root‑cause analysis with proven success in leading investigation teams and implementing corrective actions. Team leadership experience. Cost Account Management (CAM) experience. Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. Program planning experience. Experience using Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar). Experience collaborating with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products. Experience presenting to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings. Ability to attain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance; US citizenship is required. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. A US citizen is required. Clearance level: Secret.
