Responsibilities
- Provide strategic clinical science leadership across multiple studies, programs, and cardiovascular assets
- Lead standardization of clinical science practices, medical data review, and scientific consistency across portfolio
- Guide clinical data interpretation and support identification of scientific issues with development implications
- Manage and mentor multiple clinical scientists and principal scientists; set expectations and enable development
- Contribute clinical science perspective to portfolio governance discussions and senior leadership reviews
Requirements
- Deep expertise in pulmonary hypertension and cardiovascular disease biology and treatment landscape
- Extensive experience with clinical trial design, endpoints, and data interpretation
- Proven track record in strategic clinical science leadership within pharmaceutical development
- Experience managing and developing scientific teams in matrix environments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with regulatory, biostatistics, and medical affairs functions
- Knowledge of emerging scientific approaches and data analytics technologies
