Senior Specialist - Clinical Supply Project Manager - Protocol - Hybrid

Merck's Global Clinical Supply organization seeks a Senior Specialist to manage end-to-end clinical supply chain activities for assigned studies. The Protocol Clinical Supplies Project Manager designs strategic and operational plans, serves as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, and ensures timely delivery of clinical supplies across the development portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Serve as key GCS stakeholder on Clinical Trial Teams and negotiate timelines with functional representatives
- Establish and communicate clinical supply timelines for sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution
- Analyze clinical supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies for stakeholder review
- Author clinical supply sections of study protocols and prepare documentation for Investigator Meetings
- Manage supply chain systems including SAP, IRT, PowerApps, and Veeva for consolidated study forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific, business, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of project management experience
- At least 5 years of supply chain planning, scheduling, and coordination experience
- Proficiency with SAP or Oracle systems and demand planning principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple organizational levels
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with changing priorities
