Social Worker
Join our team as a Social Worker in New York, NY, providing comprehensive support and counseling services. This full-time position requires flexibility to work either Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat with varying hours between 08:00am and 09:00pm. The role involves conducting assessments, providing crisis intervention, and facilitating therapeutic groups.
Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations. Provide individual, couples, group, and family counseling. Screen for mental health and substance use for various age groups. Offer crisis intervention and stabilize situations as needed. Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with regulations. Serve as a liaison to community agencies and organizations. Design and facilitate therapeutic groups based on client needs.
Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments. Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Ability to make appropriate referrals for clients. Experience in providing crisis intervention. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
