Agile Scrum Master

Job Overview Genesis10 is seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a hybrid (3 days onsite per week) position at a Global Financial Institution in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Role Description This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and value delivery by one or more Scrum teams. The Scrum Master serves the needs of the team to drive performance and growth by promoting and coaching an Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self‑managing and fulfill their cross‑functional potential. The Scrum Master ensures impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows agreed processes, and maintains a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team. Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies Manage dependencies for the team Provide visibility into team delivery plans and progress Enable continuous improvement within the team Serve as a servant leader, focused on team success and delivery Requirements Strong understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and ceremonies Proven experience facilitating daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews Ability to ensure teams follow agreed Agile processes and practices Skilled in supporting team alignment and engagement Desired Skills Experience working in multiple Scrum teams or scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) Ability to manage dependencies across larger programs or portfolios Experience using Agile metrics (velocity, burn‑down/up, cycle time) Ability to leverage insights to improve team performance and predictability Pay Range $63.94 - $71.94 per hour Eligibility Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered.
