Mission A JobNimbus Director of Design is a strategic leader who bridges the gap between user needs, business goals, and design excellence. They champion a user-centric approach, fostering a collaborative environment to create intuitive and delightful product experiences. What You’ll Be Doing User Impact: Driving measurable improvements in user engagement, satisfaction, and key user metrics. Design Excellence: Delivering high-quality design solutions that meet usability, accessibility, and brand standards. Team Leadership: Building a strong, motivated design team, fostering professional development and collaboration. Strategic Thinking: Aligning design efforts with business goals and product roadmap, translating user needs into actionable design solutions. Communication & Advocacy: Effectively communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders across the organization. What Makes You A Superhero For This Role Minimum 5+ years in product design leadership Proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams. Strong understanding of design principles (interaction design, UI/UX, visual design). Experience with user research methodologies (user interviews, usability testing). Proficiency in Figma and other tools (Sketch, Adobe XD). Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise design solutions. Passion for user-centered design and a relentless focus on improving user experience. Superpowers Extreme Ownership.
