Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing for adults in acute care and SNF settings.
- Develop, implement, and reassess individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and interdisciplinary team input.
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services, including dysphagia management and cognitive-communication therapies.
- Document assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, goals, and discharge planning in the patient record; communicate findings to the care team.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on therapy strategies, home exercise programs, safety, and equipment as appropriate.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, dietitians, and physicians to optimize outcomes and facilitate safe transitions and discharge.

Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania; ability to work in SNF/acute care settings
- Experience or demonstrated ability in dysphagia management and adult communication therapies
- Strong documentation skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
