Warehouse Operations Supervisor Pick, Pack, Ship

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will work as a team member and oversee the Pick, Pack and Ship area and perform the physical tasks involved in the daily activities including shipping, receiving, final inspections, order fulfillment, stocking, and distributing materials. Checks received product against purchase orders / invoices, documents receipt of products and rejects unsatisfactory items. This individual will be adaptable to changing priorities, committed to continuous improvement, and focused on developing employees while maintaining a culture of accountability.

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)

Pay: $67,400 - $89,900

Your Challenge:

• Allocates labor, equipment, and workflow to meet production schedules and on-time delivery.
• Develops, coaches, trains, and cross-trains employees to ensure department flexibility and long-term success.
• Packaging products for shipping and process received products with a high attention to detail to include examination for damage, processing discrepancies, and delivery of material to stock locations.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting, root-cause investigation, and corrective action implementation.
• Authorizes and/or rejects shipments including final inspection of products and resolves discrepancies with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Ensures proper documentation, traceability, handling of controlled materials, and compliance with shelf-life and environmental storage requirements.
• Serves as main point of contact for issues with suppliers, vendors, purchasing, and sales.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce future discrepancies.
• Prepares and maintains reports to track customer complaints, inventory and shipping issues for management.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the department and other operational areas of the company.

Your Expertise:

• 4-6 years of experience in Material Handler / Order Picking-Packing / Warehouse role.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience leading, supervising, and mentoring a team in daily operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse management processes.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
