Cook – Part-TimeTerrace Grove Assisted Living | Logan, UtahPay: $12.00–$15.00 per hour | Part-Time | Approximately 20–25 hours/weekJoin Our TeamTerrace Grove Assisted Living is looking for a dependable and experienced Cook to prepare nutritious, appealing meals for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in serving others, and can work efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.As a Cook, you will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by preparing quality meals and following established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.What You'll DoPrepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.Ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on schedule.Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food-preparation area.Properly receive, store, and rotate food and kitchen supplies.Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to appropriate staff.Follow procedures for special diets and resident dietary needs.Provide courteous and professional service to residents.Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure smooth meal service.Complete assigned kitchen and food-preparation duties efficiently and on time.What We're Looking ForRequired:Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation.Ability to prepare a variety of meals and follow recipes and menus.Knowledge of safe food-handling and sanitation practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to complete meal preparation within established timeframes.Current food handler's permit or ability to obtain one as required.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.Preferred:Experience preparing meals for groups or institutional settings.Experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, or a similar environment.Experience preparing meals from scratch.Experience preparing meals for special dietary requirements.SchedulePart -timeMorning shiftsApproximately 20–25 hours per weekShift times may vary based on resident meal schedules and kitchen needs.Occasional weekend and holiday availability may be required.Why Join Terrace Grove?$12.00–$15.00 per hourConsistent part-time hoursSupportive and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residentsEqual Opportunity EmployerTerrace Grove Assisted Living is an equal opportunity employer.
