Job Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves providing patient care in the Medical Surgical Floor, with a focus on diabetes management and insulin drips. The role requires weekend and holiday availability, with floating across all units within the med surg division as needed. Orientation sessions occur every Monday, and EPIC training is required during the second half of the day at orientation.

Job Details

• Location: Tallahassee, Florida
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license or compact license, BLS certification, EPIC experience, at least 2 years of specialty experience including insulin drip management, prior travel experience with at least one completed assignment, experience with blood glucose protocols, and availability for weekend and holiday shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position offers orientation every Monday. EPIC training is scheduled during the second half of the day at orientation, with an opportunity to test out. Travelers will float to all units within the med surg division; no block scheduling or holiday RTO exceeding 7 days. No local or travel pairs accepted for this role, and the unit requires experience with insulin drips. Orientation sessions are held weekly, and IVS to offer if four days or less of RTO.
