Accounting Supervisor

CAM Property Services (est. 1987) provides maintenance and field services to commercial and multifamily properties. We are strengthening our internal accounting function to support continued growth and operational discipline. About the Role CAM Property Services is hiring a hands‑on Accounting Supervisor to take ownership of our day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role is responsible for executing and controlling core accounting transactions, including AP, ACH payments , and cash activity , while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and month‑end close . This is not a review‑only or junior bookkeeping role. You will work directly with our external accounting advisory firm and serve as the internal owner of accounting execution, accuracy, and discipline . Responsibilities Own the general ledger (QuickBooks) Execute and manage month‑end close Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclasses Perform and complete bank & credit card reconciliations Invoice review, coding, and entry ACH and check payments Manage cash activity, including: Recording and reconciling deposits Ensuring proper application of receipts Ensure accurate revenue and expense classification Monitor and resolve aging, discrepancies, and coding issues Maintain tight controls over cash disbursements and inflows Coordinate with external advisors on: Monthly close review – Aspire QuickBooks Adjustments and reporting Support leadership with accurate, timely financial data Qualifications 7+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience Advanced QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) Required Skills Owning the general ledger Running month‑end close Executing full‑cycle AP Handling cash, ACH, and bank transactions Strong understanding of internal controls around cash and disbursements High attention to detail and accountability Preferred Skills Experience in property services, construction, or field services Experience with Aspire (CRM) a ServiceTitan company Exposure to job costing or class tracking Experience working alongside external CPAs or advisors Pay range and compensation package $80,000 – $105,000 (DOE) Plus annual bonus Paid vacation and sick time 401K with company match Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr CAM Property Services
