Continue with Google Continue with Google Direct message the job poster from Premier Financial Search Accounting & Finance Recruiter | A CPA Who Truly Gets It We’re working with a leading produce company in Long Beach that’s looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to take the reins on day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and cost tracking across multiple entities. What You’ll Do: Manage month-end close and reporting Own cost accounting—analyzing variances, tracking labor and overhead, and maintaining accuracy Manage intercompany transactions and grower settlements Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support audits and tax planning Collaborate with operations, logistics, and leadership to inform business decisions Partner with leadership and support a small team including AP and accounting clerks What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of accounting experience; at least a couple at the management level Strong foundation in cost accounting and accrual-based financials Experience in produce or agriculture preferred Familiarity with Famous Software is a plus, but not required Bilingual in Spanish (read/write) would be helpful, but not required You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and isn't afraid to get into the weeds The Setup: Office is right off the 405 in Long Beach Most people work between the hours of 6am-3pm Salary up to $130K depending on experience Generous benefits: 100% employer-paid medical (for employee + dependents), dental, 401(k) match up to 6%, profit sharing, and PTO that bumps up with tenure This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role with a stable company that ships globally and partners with over 100 growers.
