About the Position

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week, 3 shifts per week, 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, with minimal floating to Medical ICU and Floor Units

• Advanced CVICU procedures including open heart recovery, ECMO cannulation, Cath/EP Lab recovery, and mechanical circulatory support
• Total Care Support model with dedicated unit secretaries and technicians
• Meditech EMR system with state-of-the-art equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, GE Bedside Monitors, IABP, and Impella
• Opportunity for charge nurse experience on night shift

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state license
• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification required
• Experienced ICU RN with strong critical care background
• Cardiovascular ICU experience highly preferred
• Competency in telemetry monitoring, pressor/positive inotrope management, pacemaker care, chest tube management, and post-procedural assessments
• Experience with Cath/EP Lab recovery, pericardial drains, and frequent site/vital sign monitoring
• Charge nurse experience preferred for night shift candidates
• Royal Blue scrubs required
