This position requires more than supervising a shift. You will take ownership of the shift and ensure our guests receive the level of hospitality, service, and attention expected at Quotes Willowbrook.You will work closely with hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers, kitchen leadership, and other managers to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently from opening through closing.This position requires a leader who is willing to step in, support the team, correct issues in real time, and demonstrate the standards expected from others.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage front-of-house operations during assigned shiftsLead by example in professionalism, appearance, attendance, communication, teamwork, and guest serviceEstablish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for meeting performance and service standardsCoach, train, motivate, and develop front-of-house employeesConduct effective pre-shift meetings and communicate daily prioritiesEnsure proper floor coverage and employee positioning based on business volumeMonitor server sections, table turns, ticket times, and overall flow of serviceEnsure guests are greeted, seated, and served promptly and professionallyMaintain a visible management presence throughout the dining roomVisit guest tables and proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest experienceRespond quickly and professionally to guest concerns and service recovery situationsMonitor employee performance throughout the shift and provide immediate coaching when necessaryAddress attendance, uniform, behavior, communication, and performance concerns consistentlyDocument and communicate employee performance issues when appropriatePartner with kitchen leadership to maintain strong communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teamsAssist with onboarding and training new employeesEnsure opening, shift-change, and closing responsibilities are completed properlyMaintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and presentation standardsSupport compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and operational proceduresMake sound decisions based on the needs of the restaurant rather than individual convenienceCreate a professional, respectful, accountable, and team-focused work environmentLEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONSAt Quotes Willowbrook, leadership means more than having a management title.Our Restaurant Floor Manager must be willing to lead from the floor-not from the sidelines.
