Registered Nurse – ICU

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend and floating required.

This is an ICU float pool position, which includes floating to medical/surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow units, and PACU when necessary. Orientation includes an EKG exam that must be passed to continue with the contract.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger
• Experience with PA line/Swan Ganz catheter is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing advanced medical equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccination is required. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and no time-off requests are allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment.
