Growing together.The Patient Care Coordinator functions as an integral member of the team and is the first point of contact for all people inquiring about the provider's practice. The primary role is to organize the practice's daily activities and paperwork. Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.Working Hours: A 40-hour work week, 4-10 shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:45 am to 5:15 pmLocation: 3927 Rucker Ave, Everett, WA 98201 (remote after onsite orientation)If you live near Everett, WA, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and careSchedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelinesUses multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over the phoneVerifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral informationGreet customers into the practice and provide instruction and/or direction as necessary on the phoneSchedule and coordinate all patient appointments as directedPrepare all documentation and records with accuracy as directed or necessary for the patient's careMeet or exceed the performance measures established by the Practice Management DepartmentFollow establish policy and procedures related to the positionParticipate and contribute to a team-based environmentMaintain a team supportive attendance recordUnderstand and deliver quality customer service that is consistent with the Polyclinic's efforts in becoming a High-Performance OrganizationFollow OSHA/WISHA (including usage of PPE) guidelinesFollow HIPAA regulationsAdapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment, and in occasional difficult situationsPerforms other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
