Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role works as part of a team of technicians to build custom-engineered electrical solutions for advanced equipment used in highly technical industries, including aerospace and space applications. You will install, assemble, and support electrical and automation systems while following relevant codes and standards and contributing to high-quality, reliable equipment builds.
Responsibilities
You will join a family-owned organization that values long-term relationships, hands-on craftsmanship, and a supportive team culture. The work offers exposure to innovative aerospace and space projects, giving you the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology while developing your skills. You can expect a clean, professional environment, meaningful technical challenges, and the chance to grow your career in a company that values quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean aerospace manufacturing environment, combining workshop duties with fieldwork at client sites. You can expect local travel of up to 50% of your time to support installations, commissioning, and service work. Work conditions vary by location, with noise levels ranging from moderate to high. The job involves repetitive bending and reaching and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds. You must be able to read and interpret detailed prints and see fine detail when terminating wires. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
