LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Care

Role Overview: Provides primary clinical support to healthcare providers, patients, and families to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsible for obtaining patient medical histories, vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor procedures and diagnostic tests. Collects laboratory specimens, documents patient communication, and administers medications and vaccines under provider supervision. Ensures a clean, sterile environment and maintains accurate medical records for continuity of care. Key Responsibilities: Support clinical workflows by preparing patients and assisting providers during examinations and procedures. Collect and prepare lab specimens, document medical data, and ensure timely follow-up on diagnostic testing. Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing within scope of practice. Maintain clinical areas, ensure asepsis, and organize necessary instruments and supplies. Communicate effectively with patients, respond to inquiries, and prioritize provider communication. Qualifications & Skills: Must have graduated from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing. Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills are essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adhere to policies and procedures.
