Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in South Bend, IN. This on-site, full-time role involves preparing and managing comprehensive estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with electrical contractors and engineering teams, implement effective cost-control measures, and ensure project specifications and budgets are met. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets for electrical construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process. Monitor material and labor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement budget controls. Stay updated on industry standards, electrical codes, and pricing trends. Support the engineering team with cost analysis and project planning. Qualifications: Proven experience in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control . Strong background in Electrical Contracting and understanding of Electrical Systems . Solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles. Proficient in estimating software, particularly Accubid . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred. Prior experience in the construction or electrical industry is highly desirable.
