Service Manager

Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Service Manager who will ensure a smooth workflow, maintain high customer satisfaction, and support service technicians to deliver top-quality service. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in maximizing the efficiency of service technicians by organizing and prioritizing work orders based on technician capability, parts availability, and promised deadlines
• Facilitate smooth workflow through the department
• Prepare customer quotes, write work orders, look up parts, and handle customer billing with professionalism and accuracy
• Learn and utilize our inventory management software effectively
• Communicate service needs with customers using a proactive, sales-oriented approach

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma; Post-high school education is a plus but not required
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in small engine repair and a minimum of 2 years of personnel management experience
• Must be proficient with common computer applications
• Must have a strong communication and organizational, and excellent customer service skill
• Must have a proactive, sales-oriented mindset when communicating with customers
• Must be reliable, flexible, able to multi-task effectively, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Must have the ability to work and maintain a positive and professional attitude under pressure
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment with other departments is necessary
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
