Job Description

As a medical director at USACS, you will take on a leadership role collaborating with hospital administration and supporting physician staff while serving as a leader in both the emergency department and broader organization. Additional Details

• Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
• Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
• Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
• Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay of $167/hour plus additional leadership stipend

About Petaluma Valley Hospital

• ED Volume: 20,000
• Staffing Model: 34 hours
  • Two 12-hour physician shifts
  • One 10-hour APP shift
• EMR: Epic with Dragon
• Helipad for all emergency conditions requiring transfer
• Full-service ED treats a wide variety of acutely ill and injured patients including sepsis, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, general surgery, stroke, orthopedic, and pediatrics care
• Named among the top 10% in the nation for treatment of stroke and received the Healthgrades Stroke Care Excellence Award in 2021
