Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including hiring processes, onboarding, benefits support, employee relations, training logistics, and compliance tasks. This early-career position helps carry out HR initiatives and keeps documentation organized and accurate while contributing to a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and enthusiastic about developing their HR career. Support recruitment and onboarding by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and completing new-hire documentation. Maintain accurate employee records and process HRIS transactions while assisting with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries. Provide first-level employee relations support and assist with engagement, communication, and culture-building activities. Coordinate training by scheduling sessions, tracking completion, and maintaining training documentation. Assist with compliance and reporting, including audits, regulatory requirements, and HR data analysis. Provide general HR support through confidential and efficient service, participation in HR projects, and reliable attendance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2-4 years of HR experience; internship or HR assistant experience preferred. Basic understanding of HR principles and employment law. Excellent organization and attention to detail, with solid Microsoft Office skills; experience with Paylocity is helpful. Capable of managing basic HR tasks independently and knowing when to elevate more complex issues to senior team members.
