About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organization through a phase of growth, operational excellence, and market expansion. The CEO will be the senior leader responsible for the overall performance, including commercial growth, purchasing and pricing strategy, operational execution, financial stewardship, and talent leadership. This hands-on, visible role requires strong relationship-building skills and a high level of personal presence in the market and with shareholders. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, partner with the Board of Directors, drive profitable revenue growth, oversee purchasing, pricing, and vendor relationships, and lead operational excellence across various functions. Additionally, the CEO will be tasked with building and aligning the leadership team, ensuring strong financial stewardship, and serving as the public-facing leader of the organization. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility in a relevant industry. The role demands a proven ability to grow revenue and market presence while managing pricing, purchasing, margin, and inventory dynamics. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills are essential, as is the experience of working with and reporting to a Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have a relationship-first leadership style, be a hands-on operator with strong financial acumen, and be willing to be based on-site in the Rochester/Henrietta area with minimal regional travel.
