Travel Registered Nurse ER | Vance, Alabama

Work in a dynamic Regional Medical Center Emergency Department, recognized as a Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center, treating over 60,000 patients annually. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing round-the-clock emergency care for all age groups. This is a chance to expand your clinical skills and professional network, learning from diverse workplace protocols and respected healthcare leaders.


Schedule:
• Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed


Qualifications:
• Associate degree in nursing
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact state-no temporary licenses accepted
• Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS or Red Cross, NIH, TNCC, SECURE (on-site)
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience (will consider 18 months with 1 year of recent ER experience)


Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy, state-designated Trauma and Stroke Center
• Care for critical trauma patients (1:1 ratio); manage up to 3-4 patients for other cases
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with ED physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
• Uphold facility policies, safety standards, and patient confidentiality
