Job Details

We are seeking experienced Plumbers in Cincinnati & Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Permanent Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential and commercial structures.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various methods such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
• Perform complex calculations and planning for special or large jobs, including daily scope of work.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures using measuring instruments such as rules and levels.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
• Handle power tools in a safe manner.
• Communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner at all levels inside and outside the company.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the plumbing industry.
• Valid Journeyman License.
• Proven experience with assembling pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various methods.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding building codes and specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills for performing complex calculations and planning.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as rules and levels.
• Ability to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Experience in handling power tools in a safe manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
