Shipping/PackerThe Shipping/Packer associate is responsible for processing and packing all orders that are produced onsite according to company procedures while following safety practices and rules. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for all receiving activities including the loading and unloading of material. Computer skills and operating a forklift are required along with the ability to lift heavy material up to 50 pounds.We are currently experiencing a heavy workload and thus working 12 hour days, including a few hours on Saturdays.How You Will Help:Use company software to process each order.Package all customer orders consistent with company standards utilizing UPS, FedEx and LTL order.Operate a sit down and stand-up forklift truck to load all outgoing material and unloading all incoming materialLabel material according to customer specificationsMove material to new locations as neededMust follow all safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe work environmentClean designated areas of warehouse as neededAll other duties/tasks as assignedWhat You Will Bring:+1 year Shipping/Receiving experience is requiredDemonstrated ability to operate computers and related technology in a warehouse environment, including inventory systems and data entry tools.Requires standingRepetitive use of both handsConstant awareness of surroundingsRequires pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs)Good Verbal and written communication skillsGood math skills with demonstrated attention to detail.Currently looking for 1st shift candidate.
