Job TitleSysco Guest Supply, LLCJob DescriptionProvides analytic thought leadership supporting supply chain objectives through standard and ad hoc analysis, modeling, reporting, and insights to optimize cost structure and operating income results across Guest Worldwide (GWW) operations. Support internal customers with reporting and recommendations focused on department strategic objective results and business insights. Will partner with management to investigate specific trends and needs, as well as special projects across the margin waterfall.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze supply chain costs including transportation, warehousing, inventory carrying costs, and supplier pricingIdentify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational improvements.Develop financial forecasts related to supply chain activities including procurement, logistics, and distribution.Perform variance analysis between actual costs and budgeted costsBuild financial models to evaluate supply chain investmentsSupport budgeting and long-range financial planning for supply chain operations.Ensure supply chain financial processes comply with company policies and accounting standards.EducationMinimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or other analytical fields of study preferred.ExperienceMinimum Required:1 - 3 years of experience in financial analysis1 - 3 years of experience working on projects in a results-driven environmentSkillsHas an analytical mindset; possesses an appreciation for data, analysis, strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and measurement while able to assess the reasonability of results and draw actionable conclusions for leadership.Natural curiosity and desire to problem solve; enjoys processing large amounts of data to glean insights.Proven track record and comfort working in a fast-paced dynamic environment; generating analysis and insights meeting tight deadlines.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in an organized matter ensuring timelines are met.Self-starter; thinks and acts proactively while providing insightful and timely communication of learnings with recommendations.Demonstrates well-developed communication abilities with the capacity to easily connect credibly with stakeholders and transfer business insights for action at different levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.Able to recognize issues, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies and drive practical solutionsAbility to think quantitatively, develop reporting based on business cases/needs to diagnose root causes/results drivers.Quickly analyze new or existing reporting for insights to prioritize opportunities and effectively synthesis for leadership.Experience modeling data and creating field ready reporting and insight toolsDeep understanding of Excel required as well as advanced PowerPoint skillset.Extensive working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite of products preferred.Possesses strong business objects or similar reporting tool history and skillsetOverviewSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
