Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to join our team in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Servers in preparing for dinner or lunch service
- Review and confirm reservations for each service
- Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
- Provide guests with menus
- Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings
- Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or in customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
