Schedule

Rotating 8-hour shifts, which may include:

• 6:00 a.m.2:30 p.m.
• 7:30 a.m.4:00 p.m.
• 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.

Hours may extend beyond the scheduled shift based on patient census and operational needs.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience in Pre-Op and PACU required
• Previous charge experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic documentation experience required
• Pyxis medication system experience required
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Patient population: Adolescents and adults
• First-time travelers not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the surgical process
• Administer medications and respond to patient needs effectively
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families on pre-operative and post-operative care
