Warehouse & Delivery Associate (Temporary)

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week

Duration: Temporary assignment from May 20 through June

Overview

We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to support warehouse operations and furniture delivery during a peak seasonal period. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with in-home delivery support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and providing great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Load, unload, and stage furniture and merchandise in the warehouse
Prepare items for delivery, including inspection and packaging
Assist with local deliveries to customer homes and businesses
Safely carry and position furniture inside customer locations
Assemble furniture as needed at delivery sites
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
Provide professional and courteous customer interactions during deliveries

Qualifications

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50-100 lbs frequently, team lifts for heavier pieces)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all positions)
Previous warehouse, moving, or delivery experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

Combination of warehouse setting and local delivery routes
Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout shift
Team-oriented environment with a focus on efficiency and safety
