The CNA is also responsible for assisting the residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normal a lifestyle as possible./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pp To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL)./pp Respond to residents call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy./pp Transport residents by ambulation or by wheelchair to areas of community (dining room, lobby and activities)./pp Report any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately./pp Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition./pp Responsible for the safekeeping of residents personal possessions./pp Keep resident rooms neat and safe./pp Follow proper infection control techniques/pp Respect the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality./pp Re-teach resident to perform ADL skills./pp Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores, contractures, and complications./pp Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensures follow-up occurs./pp Converse with resident and family; assist them on adjustment to the community./pp Ensure adequate hydration and nutrition of resident; report deviations from norm to the Charge Nurse promptly./pp Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output and weights accurately./ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pp Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing./ppstrongMajestic Difference Benefits:/strong/pullipQuarterly Pay Increase/p/lilipDaily Pay/p/lilipCompany-Paid Life Insurance/p/lilipTelehealth Services/p/lilipDouble Pay on Holidays/p/lilipCare Team Member Relief Fund/p/li/ulpJoin the Majestic Care team where compassion meets excellence!/p/div
