Adjunct Instructor - Oral Communication

Job No: 494735 Full Time/Part Time: Part-time Location: South Orange The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University is seeking adjunct instructors for several daytime, on-campus sections of the undergraduate basic course, Oral Communication. This course blends basic Communication principles, Public Speaking, and Interpersonal/Group Communication. Duties And Responsibilities Teach up to two sections of the Oral Communication course, as assigned. Course schedules vary with sections meeting either once or twice per week. Required Qualifications A master's degree in communication or a closely related field. Relevant experience in instructional settings. Desired Qualifications Availability on Monday and Wednesday (mornings or early afternoons) and Tuesday and Thursday (mornings or early-midafternoons). Salary Range Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree. Exempt/Nonexempt Exempt Benefits Information Seton Hall University offers supplemental retirement benefits. Physical Demands General office and classroom environments.
