About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified CVOR RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM with occasional stay late 1-2 days per week

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts with precision and confidence
• Conduct thorough chin-to-toe hair removal and skin assessments
• Administer medications and monitor high-acuity patients closely
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements
• Transport patients to OR while ensuring safety every step
• Support induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep for surgeries
• Deliver exceptional 1:1 patient care in a fast-paced CV PreOp unit

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2+ years of experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical Care experience required
• PreOp experience a fantastic plus

Education

• RN licensure from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• BCMA proficiency
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong critical thinking in high-pressure situations
• Ability to work independently
• Outstanding communication with interdepartmental teams
