Area Sales Manager, ENT - Austin, TX

Medtronic seeks an Area Sales Manager for ENT surgical technologies in Austin, Texas. The role involves field-based sales of capital and disposable products to hospitals, physicians, and surgery centers within an assigned territory, requiring territory residence and frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses, and purchase decision-makers to demonstrate and sell Medtronic ENT surgical products
• Execute sales action plans across hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices within assigned territory
• Transport and maintain demonstration equipment; provide clinical support in surgical environments
• Report competitive activity to regional management and maintain sales records and reports
• Attend required meetings and training courses within and outside territory

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 8+ years sales or clinical experience in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
• OR Associate's degree plus 6+ years relevant experience
• OR Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years relevant experience
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance with acceptable driving record
• Ability to independently drive 75% of time within territory and handle up to 20 pounds regularly
• Medical sales background with ENT products experience preferred
