Position Overview

We invite you to become part of an enthusiastic team of imaging professionals. We are on the lookout for an adept and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, team up with a network of healthcare providers, and provide patients with the reassurance they deserve through precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure to them with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the generation of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound machines while promptly addressing any equipment malfunctions
• Document examinations accurately and maintain detailed patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
