Professional Billing Analyst For Growth At IntermountainThis position is responsible for standard level work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support (e.g., electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing and collections, lab and pathology, radiology, picture archiving and communications (PACS), cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long term care, population health, consumer and patient facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, customer relationship management).This position will require some onsite presence with shifts M-F, 8AM - 5PM MT.*Prefer candidates that understand the Growth cycle within Epic Billing applications. Understands the facility structure and build required to implement new sites.Essential FunctionsProvides support to Stakeholders through analyzing and diagnosing problems to determine resolutionGathers, validates, and translates technological requirements into design and development specification while providing product managementConfigures, test, installs, implements, monitors, and maintains common and complex systems (applications, workflows, processes hardware, etc.)Documents and recommends workflow changes and technical/functional designs needed to support the business requirements.Partners with external vendors to support related third-party applications including integration/implementation, support, and troubleshootingSolves common issues, incidents, and problems according to agreed upon service levels and according to department standards.Serve as PM and complete PM functions for small to mid-size projects with multiple teamsCollaboratively works with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendorsFollows documentation and change management standards.Participates in development of training and knowledge-based materials for use by peers, end-users, and other team members.Configures and integrates electronic and mechanical hardware with software products to meet the functional criteria of client specificationsDevelop and understand business reporting needs for end usersParticipates in on-call and command center responsibilities, if applicableAssists in developing and maintaining testing plans and scripts to verify system outputs and system integrityAttends and participates in team, project and department meetings to increase awareness and information flowWork with project requestor to complete the minimum viable product of a demand in ServiceHubRequest resources for projects and enhancement work using ServiceHub Resource Plan processSkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, WordPossesses in-depth business and application knowledge and experienceKnowledge of system analysis and operating systemsSkilled in assessing needs and determining through documentation what the best approach might beSkilled at problem definition and data collection by establishing facts, drawing valid conclusionsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write correspondence, and process documentsPreferred QualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is preferred in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field.Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval OREXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of work experience, or actively working towards a bachelor's degree with 4 years' experience working within a related area.• Will be required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certificationRequirements• Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move finger and hands• See and read computer monitors and documents• Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to preform workLocation:Peaks Regional OfficeWork City:BroomfieldWork State:ColoradoScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
