Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-office experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect necessary documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and referrals
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and professionalism
• Process patient intake forms, consent documents, and billing information

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a patient coordinator, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification and basic medical billing processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare certification a plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
