Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorAs a Quality Technician, you are responsible for monitoring and inspecting products on the production line to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Your day is spent verifying that production processes and personnel follow work instructions, are using properly calibrated equipment, and are maintaining a safe work environment. However, it is climate controlled year-round at the Servite Drive location, which is in a restructured Walmart. Multiple lines are dedicated to specific business needs, such as Lines A & B for different transmissions and the 6L Line for remanufacturing GM 6L transmissions, which is uniform and fast-paced. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code includes steel toes, safety glasses, and earplugs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
