Project Engineer - Execution of F-35 Weapon Systems - Level 4

Project Engineer – F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) Team You will be responsible for driving weapon project activities across Engineering & Technology by translating technical scope into actionable plans and ensuring alignment with cost and schedule while collaborating with the Program Management office to deliver advanced weapons to the warfighter. Responsibilities Understanding and communicating how the technical scope of the contract aligns with overall program objectives and strategy. Effectively communicating technical issues to various levels of management while coordinating resolution in parallel through development of closure plans. Performing EV analysis at the contract level and understanding impacts on overall engineering. Identifying cross‑contract gaps and providing recommendations for resolution. Identifying risks and opportunities and driving closure plans through technical leadership. Managing CAM (Control Account Management) of the team’s scope. Must be a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications BS in Engineering or an alternate STEM major with technical experience. Experience in project engineering, project management, or technical roles. Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/or CAM. Interim Secret or higher security clearance. Desired Skills Experience in mission systems development lifecycles. Experience with weapon systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Security Clearance Clearing required: Secret. Work Location & Schedule Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Additional Information Employment Type: Full‑time; Shift: First.
