Quick Facts Location: Prestonsburg, KY (5000 Kentucky 321, Zip: 41653) Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: 08/31/2027 Shift: Day shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no call Hours/Week: Flexible (2 or 3 days/week preferred) Employment Type: Contract (12 months preferred) Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $4,992.00 per week (equivalent to hourly rate) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, Certification, Travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care across a mixed patient population (approx. 60% hematology, 40% solid tumor) Support clinic with APP support and three physicians at the facility Manage approximately 15 patients/day, primarily follow-ups with about 20% new patient visits Sit on tumor board meetings and coordinate patient treatment plans Supervise infusion services with dedicated oncology-trained RNs Assist with documentation and orders alongside APPs, collaborating on patient care Deliver care in a low to moderate acuity environment, with referrals for high-acuity cases What You Need Board Certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology Recent, relevant patient-facing experience Valid state medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to support outpatient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, providing outpatient hematology/oncology services with a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care.
