Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Licenses/Certifications: Arizona RN license, BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute dialysis, hospital ICU dialysis experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Pay rate: $52.00/hour

Travel pay: $27/hour, with weekly per diem of $1,200

Total weekly gross: approximately $2,280 for 40 hours

What You'll Do

• Perform acute hemodialysis treatments for hospitalized patients, including ICU and medical-surgical units
• Operate the Tablo Hemodialysis System safely and efficiently during treatments
• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis procedures
• Monitor vital signs, treatment parameters, vascular access, and overall patient condition
• Manage various dialysis vascular access types such as AV fistulas, grafts, and catheters
• Collaborate with nephrologists, hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing staff to deliver optimal care
• Document treatments, assessments, and interventions accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
• Work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment, prioritizing patient safety and high-quality care

What You Need

Required:

• Valid and unrestricted Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in acute dialysis within a hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with all dialysis vascular access types
• Experience with the Tablo Hemodialysis System

Preferred:

• Strong assessment skills and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

About the Assignment This role involves supporting acute dialysis care for hospitalized patients—including ICU and medical-surgical units—at a leading hospital in Sierra Vista. The RN will independently manage dialysis treatments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure. Proficiency with the Tablo Hemodialysis System and all vascular access types is essential to deliver high-quality, autonomous care in this dynamic hospital setting.
