What We’re Looking For Experience: 3–5+ years of direct accounting or bookkeeping experience (multi-entity, real estate, or commercial property management background strongly preferred). Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Experience with Vista Viewpoint, or similar systems is a plus. Key Competencies: High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and uncompromising integrity and confidentiality. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Property & Lease Accounting: Administer accounting for ~10 commercial and residential real estate properties, including monthly Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, rent billings, tenant account monitoring, and utility reimbursements. Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets: Manage high-dollar equipment purchasing transactions, process vendor invoices, maintain the fixed asset register, and oversee intercompany lease billings. Cash & Banking Operations: Perform monthly reconciliations across 10+ bank accounts, manage remote deposits, upload Positive Pay files, and support treasury transfers. General Ledger & Close Support: Post journal entries, process accruals, assist with month-end close, and prepare supporting schedules for audits, tax filings, and insurance renewals. Confidential Operations: Assist with family office accounts, special projects, and philanthropic initiatives with complete discretion.
