Your RoleAs an Architectural Designer with Gensler’s team in Raleigh your job is to combine creativity, technical knowledge and business skills to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging.What You Will DoLead architectural deliverables on projects, partnering with Design Directors and project teams for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectivesResolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutionsProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawingsAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school6-10+ years of experience as an architectural designer of ground up base buildingsMust be proficient in Sketch-up and RevitKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, RhinoA willingness to engage with, and utilize, new design technologies and tools, including visual AIKnowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codesStrong knowledge of the design process and successfully communicating design to teams and clientsOutstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsRegistered/Licensed Architect (if you are on the path to licensure, feel free to contact View email address on click.appcast.io to determine whether there may be another role that is of interest)Please include your resume and portfolio.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
