Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment serving individuals in our comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:Role under direct RN supervisionProvide nursing care throughout patient assessment, initiation and discontinuation of treatment; monitor during and assess following treatment; and obtain necessary lab workAssess and monitor patient's access with intervention as appropriateFollow the clinic's infection control policies and proceduresUnderstand concepts of water treatment and effects on patient careCommunicate effectively to keep charge nurse aware of patient condition changesKnow and follow clinic risk management programAdminister and educate patient regarding medications, within scope of practiceAttend required training and staff meetings to maintain and expand skillsQualificationsSuccessful Candidates Bring:Excellent communication skillsDesire to collaborate with care teamsAbility to problem solveEducation/Training:Accredited practical nursing program completionDialysis experience preferred, not requiredCurrent MT LPN licenseCurrent CPR/AED certificationCurrent state IV therapy training requirements, if applicableDCI provides a comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions, job shadowing and one-on-one skills trainingDCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
