Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor

Integrated Outpatient CoordinatorThe Integrated Outpatient Coordinator provides leadership and clinical oversight for Chestnut's adult Integrated Outpatient program, delivering both substance use and mental health treatment services. This role oversees program operations, staff supervision, service quality, and coordination of care while ensuring timely access to services and adherence to evidence-based, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practices. The Coordinator works collaboratively across departments to support seamless client engagement and high-quality integrated care.Chestnut Health Systems™ is a leading provider of integrated health care services. National Health Service Corp (NHSC) LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM - The NHSC LRP offers up to $100,000 for providers working in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) in Illinois. The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $49,000 - $68,500 annual salary.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the adult Integrated Outpatient program in an assigned county, providing both substance use and mental health treatment services, including assessment, individual, family, group, and Immediate Access servicesOversee the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services in accordance with governing policies, procedures, and quality standardsModel and reinforce evidence-based practices, including recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, and the Community Reinforcement ApproachProvide leadership and direction to promote positive collaboration within Chestnut and with community partners, particularly related to internal referrals and coordinated careHire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, interns, and volunteers, including providing certification and funder-required supervision as applicableCollaborate closely with the Centralized Access department to ensure timely client access, efficient scheduling, and continuity of careProvide direct clinical services at an assigned level and ensure staff meet expected service delivery levelsPromote Chestnut's culture of customer service excellence through adherence to behavioral standardsMaintain confidentiality and security of all organizational, financial, and consumer informationPerform other duties as assigned to support program and agency goalsQualificationsTo support a broad and diverse candidate pool, Chestnut welcomes applicants who meet one or more of the following qualification pathways:Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field, education, or social sciences (e.g., Community Health, Sociology, Community Psychology) with a minimum of five (5) years of human services experience ORMaster's degree in a human services or behavioral health–related fieldCertification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) requiredAND / OR (for advanced scope candidates):Master's degree in a human services field with licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LCPCMinimum of three (3) years of clinical experience, with both mental health and substance use treatment experience preferredAdditional Requirements (all levels):Supervisory experience preferredStrong organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, email, and electronic medical record (EMR) systemsChestnut is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
