Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our legal team. This role will support legal and business stakeholders by helping review product initiatives, drive proactive compliance efforts across the company, and respond to compliance-related questions from business units. This role is best suited for a professional with experience in a paralegal, legal operations, compliance, contract management, or similar legal support role, ideally within a SaaS company. The right person will be comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, security, go-to-market, and operations teams to help identify risk, improve processes, and support compliance programs in a practical, business-oriented way.ResponsibilitiesSupport the legal team with product counseling for new features, workflows, integrations, and internal initiativesReview product and business changes to identify potential legal, regulatory, and compliance considerationsHelp manage and maintain proactive compliance programs across a SaaS business, including privacy, data governance, customer commitments, and operational compliance mattersServe as a point of contact for internal teams seeking guidance on compliance-related questionsPartner with product, engineering, security, sales, marketing, customer success, and other business units to support compliant business practicesAssist in developing, updating, and maintaining internal policies, playbooks, training materials, and guidance documentsTrack compliance reviews, follow-ups, approvals, and remediation items across cross-functional stakeholdersSupport customer, vendor, and internal diligence requests related to compliance topicsHelp translate legal and compliance requirements into practical guidance for business teamsMonitor evolving regulatory and industry requirements relevant to SaaS products and operationsIdentify opportunities to improve legal and compliance processes, documentation, and operational workflows
