About the Role

You’ll be DSS on the ground, based full-time inside our client’s facility. You’ll keep a multi-shift workforce staffed, safe, and productive, handling recruiting, onboarding, payroll, attendance, and employee relations. You’ll also be the go-to partner for the client’s HR, production, and facilities teams. When the client thinks of their workforce, we want them to think of you. 

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and build strong working relationships across HR, production, and facilities.

• Recruit, interview, and hire to meet the client’s staffing needs, and keep a ready-to-go candidate pipeline for turnover and volume spikes.

• Manage a multi-shift workforce, including check-ins, scheduling, attendance, and occurrence tracking.

• Lead and coach associates by setting clear expectations, giving feedback, recognizing great work, and counseling when needed.

• Follow every client-specific hiring requirement and keep compliance at 100%: I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and skills testing.

• Audit new-hire paperwork, process weekly payroll, and maintain accurate personnel records.

• Run onboarding and orientation so new associates start safe and confident.

• Conduct weekly safety inspections, enforce DSS and client safety policies, and report incidents promptly.

• Partner with our branch and corporate teams on unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and investigations.

• Build and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the client and the DSS leadership team.

Skills you’ll bring

• 2–5 years of recruiting or staffing experience, ideally in light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred.

• A steady, fair leadership style that earns respect on the floor and in the client’s office.

• Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple shifts.

• Discretion and professionalism with confidential information.

• Comfort with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Flexibility with schedule, including occasional overtime when the site needs it.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
