Assistant Frozen Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers after fulfilling requests. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards. Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the frozen food area, including product merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels. Assist with ordering all merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area and meeting transmission times. Store excess product in freezer. Provide a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the store. Front‑end services may be required as business needs arise. Ensure compliance with company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations. Unload frozen food merchandise from trucks. Manage damages and reclaims per company guidelines. Assist with training and development of new associates in the frozen food area. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
